In January 2016, the Seneca Nation and Seneca Gaming Corporation broke ground for a $40 million expansion of Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, which significantly added to the excitement and experience visitors enjoy during each visit. The project consisted of a two-story expansion of the existing casino, approximately 28,500 additional square feet of space on each of two levels. The ground floor received 300 additional slot machines and additional table games, including a high limit room and expanded non-smoking area, and a performance stage for live entertainment at Stixx Sports Bar.  The second floor of the expansion introduced the all-new Phillips WD Bar & Grille with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as banquet and meeting space and spectacular city views.
